Blitz versus rapid: do not average those habits together
The same opening move can be a leak in blitz and a fine choice in rapid. Chessigma splits time controls so a 60-second brawl does not rewrite your slow repertoire.
Read blitz findings in the blitz slice. Read rapid in the rapid slice. A combined accuracy-style number across both will send you to study the wrong thing.
Volume lies
Many players have four times as many blitz games as rapid. A “whole account” leak is often just the blitz leak, repeated.
Chessigma’s DNA split exists for this. If blitz is the outlier, train that clock — or stop treating blitz results as repertoire evidence.
When to import only one control
If you are rebuilding a rapid repertoire, import the last few months of that control. Mixing a 2024 bullet binge hides the line you play on Tuesday night.
The 200-game cap is there so the newest clock you actually use stays in the sample.
