A loss streak is not an opening verdict
Seven losses in a row can be tilt, pairing, or a week of 3|0. They are not proof that the Italian is unplayable for you.
Chessigma will still show the colour and opening you actually used. A streak is a time slice. A leak is a position that keeps coming back after the streak ends.
Wait for the next month
If the same fork appears after you have slept and the rating has bounced, then it is a pattern. If it vanished with the tilt, it was a week.
Do not burn a repertoire on a Sunday
Changing five first moves because of one arena is how you arrive at league night with no book. Sample size still wins.

Should I stop playing after a streak?
That is a tilt rule, not a Chessigma rule. The report will still import the games you play angry.
Can a streak hide a real leak?
Yes. Look at the positions, not the result column. A repeating fork during a streak is still a repeating fork.
