Compare opening choices in the same colour only
A move that is fine as White is not the same decision as Black. Chessigma stops the comparison when colour or the move sequence diverges.
If you want a Black repertoire answer, read the Black tree. Averaging both colours into one “Italian score” will hide the leak.
Stop when the sequences diverge
Once the move lists split, you are in different positions. Further ply is a new question.
Ignore one-off experiments until both moves have a sample. The product already does this; do not override it with a story.
Practical review order
Colour, then time control, then named opening, then the fork. Skip a level that did not clear the threshold.
